Teeth whitening: lightening the color, with clinical judgment
Teeth whitening lightens the color of your teeth and removes stains left by food, drinks, or the natural aging process. It is a cosmetic treatment: it changes the color of a tooth, not its shape or position. At the clinic it follows a look at the state of your mouth, because no two patients start from the same place.
Teeth whitening is a cosmetic treatment that helps lighten the color of your teeth and remove stains caused by food, drinks, or the natural aging process. It is a safe and quick procedure that enhances the appearance of your smile, leaving your teeth looking whiter and brighter in a natural way.
Three things are worth separating, because they get mixed up constantly. Ultrasonic cleaning removes plaque and tartar: it looks after the gums. Whitening works on the color of the tooth. Smile design works on shape and proportion, through restorations. Three different treatments — and knowing which one solves what actually bothers you is half the conversation.
That is why whitening is not booked blind. The first step is looking: what produced the color, which surfaces are in your mouth, how the gums are doing. That examination is what tells us whether whitening is the treatment you are after or whether something else will serve you better — and the answer does not always match what people had in mind when they wrote in.
You will not find here how many sessions it takes, how long the result lasts, or which shade you will reach. None of those three can be answered honestly without seeing your teeth, and stating them in advance would be selling you an expectation. They are discussed at the consultation, with your mouth in front of us. Write to us on WhatsApp and we will arrange it.

Frequently asked questions
How long does teeth whitening last?
We do not give a figure. It depends on your habits and your starting point, and any general number would be a promise we cannot stand behind. It is one of the things discussed at your consultation.
Is teeth whitening safe?
The clinic describes it as a safe and quick procedure. That said, if you have sensitivity, restorations, or any relevant history, bring it up at the consultation — reviewing exactly that is what comes before deciding on the treatment.
Does it work if I have crowns, resins, or veneers?
It is among the first things examined, because not every surface in a mouth is the same material or starts from the same color. Before whitening, we look at what is actually in your mouth and explain what you can expect.
How many sessions will I need?
That is decided at the first consultation. We do not publish a number of sessions because no single number holds for every patient, and you would rather know yours than know the average.
Every mouth is different. The way to know whether this treatment is the right one for you is an assessment with the team.
